Don't shelve yourself when it all turns '12 -- Monarch's spreading its wings at dawn with this morning after party, featuring the classic Wicked rave crew's Thomas (now of acclaimed duo Rub N Tug), underground disco hero James Glass, local re-edit kings 40 Thieves, and the funky house sounds of DJs Solar and Conor.

>>STOMPY + SUNSET

This awesome New Year's annual, now in its umpteenth year, delivers some classic funky SF techno all day long from the storied crews. With special guest Brothers' Vibe, a.k.a. Tony Rodriguez from New Jersey, who's put out some mighty smooth classic house cuts in his long career (along with his brother Luis). With DJs Solar, who'll be DJing like 30 hours straight at this point, Galen, J-Bird, Tasho, and more.

>>BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS

There are seriously going to be about 1000 DJs at this bonkers Burner-friendly block party-rave tradition outside Mighty, so grab your neon fun-fur cowboy hat and jump in ... if you're a CHAMPION.

>>SUPPER OF SURVIVORS
The Brass Tax crew has promised us an exploding gorilla, new Years countdown do-over, drink specials galore, and a fully stocked triage station. Oh, and also "DJs DingDong, JoeJoe, Mace and Ernie, along with Jess Stockton (BTxLA) and special guests Ethan Miller (FnF), Dr. Whiskers (Strategik) and The Tsurata Experience (Strategik) dropping bumping beats." I don't know who any of those cats are -- but I will definitely take their bumps.

>>HONEY NEW YEAR DAY

If you've recovered enough from the fabulous Honey Soundsystem (and Sunset) New Year's Eve party with KiNK at Public Works, come heat up again/cool down with the fabulous creatures at Honey's regular queer-wonderful Sunday hive, Holy Cow. It'll be the talk.
