San Francisco politicos have long since rolled out of rumpled election night beds, kissed their partners for the first time in months, and tossed those worn-down precinct-walkers out for something a little more comfortable. Now our eyes turn to the presidential election, which despite Ed Lee's mustache is decidedly less sexy (blame it on the overexposure, c'mon Republican ladies and gentlemen can you leave nothing to our imagination?)

The Road to Shameless: A Survivor's Tale of Sexual Assault and Healing reading
When Nancy Donoval was 19, she went out one night and was raped by a “friend.” She didn't know that was called rape, but she does now. Donoval is the author of The Road to Shameless, the tale of how she took that extreme violation and learned from it. Her stories are well-known for being gut-wrenching and hilarious in one fell swoop – this is a great chance to see pathos and play mashed into a single stage performance.
